“Sadly these were ordered for a birthday in May, when they arrived the date was April. If this was the reason they were on offer it should of stated this. I would of then chosen something else.”

Hi there, All the Sale items listed on the website, always have a use by date in the description, this is to prevent these occurances, the last thing we at Friars want is for someone to receive an out of date Box of Chocolates as a gift. “The delivery is always quick, which is just as well because your mouth is watering as soon as you place the order. These Dark Chocolate Ginger Batons are wonderful!”

“I loved the dark chocolate on the batons, but every single one of the pieces is stem ginger was fibrous. I had to chew the ginger and spit out the fibres, which I didn't like at all. I've had plenty of stem ginger without fibres so it is possible. The packaging was great but I wouldn't buy the product again. When I sat down to eat some I took a small dish for the fibres. For the price I paid I expected better”
