“The chocolate around the outside is really good, but the filling tastes VERY strongly of alcohol. I didn't realise there would be alcohol in them when I bought them because they aren't labelled as liquor chocolates or anything. Disappointing.”

Hello, I'm sorry that gthe chocolates you ordered from us weren't to your liking. Alcohol is used in the production of these truffles to preserve the fresh cream used for the truffle centre and this is listed in the ingredients section of our website listing. However, the flavour should not be strong and we will ensure that your feedback is passed on to the chocolatiers to make them aware of the issue you have encountered. “Best truffles ever, really lovely crisp chocolate, white chocolate not too sweet and the filling of the truffle was delicious. A perfect truffle in my opinion, really lovely. Highly recommend all the chocolates I have bought from Friars. I am bought many different chocolate varieties and always been very pleased with the quality of the choclate.”
