“my search was for a gluten free Easter egg for my wife and it led me to your site where i made the purchase Whie she thoroughly enjoyed what she ate it made her poorly and on investifgation the egg was found to contain gluten the whole purpose was to provide a gluten free product and i believe i was stronlgy misled”

Hi Keith, Hi We are sorry for any confusion on the search for a Gluten Free Egg, we think you may have used a search engine, these are not accurate, if you search on Friars Web Site for Gluten Free Easter Egg it only brings up a choice of 3. None of these are what you ordered, we have checked the ingredients on the website and it clearly states the Caramel egg contains Gluten. We are terribly sorry your wife became unwell but we have in no way mislead, we advise you to always check the Ingredients before making a purchase. Would you recommend this product for any particular occasion or type of person? Only Easter as it’s an egg.

“Bought this for my wife as bored of the traditional brand Easter eggs which most are not actually made of a high percentage of chocolate. My wife said it’s the best chocolate she has ever tasted and it was a thick chocolate egg which shows it high quality and luxurious as advertised. The cost was high which is good as it’s only something I would purchase once a year. Highly recommended gift for a special person.”

“While you may pay a higher price than normal I found this egg with chocolates in side worth every penny. The egg was thick and creamy smooth and chocolates the same. Not an egg to guzzle on but to enjoy over a number of days. I will but fryers chocolate again soon”
