The captain and our guide on the boat were also fantastic they were funny and friendly we felt safe and all equipment was in good condition. Our lunch was great and enjoyed by everyone. “I swam with a manta ray which was slightly terrifying as it came straight at me - I was within a foot of it but was mind blowing at the same time. Our group were lucky to be near the manta for about 10 mins. I also saw more fish than I have ever seen and so many colours. I swam with a turtle too. Loads of great pics.”
“We spent 3 weeks travelling around parts of Asia and this was the absolute highlight of our trip. Swimming with Manta Rays was just out of this world - words cannot really do it justice. Our Forever Vacation guide Boneng was amazing. There were only 4 of us on the boat and 2 of them hadn't been snorkelling before. Unlike other snorkelling trips I've been on, Boneng took the time to explain carefully how to use the snorkelling equipment and make sure everyone was comfortable. This was especially important as sometimes the seas on Nusa Penida are not always very calm but I felt absolutely comfortable and safe. We had heard from other tourists who had been snorkelling on Nusa Penida with other companys who did not provide safety equipment or proper guides in the water. Our Forever Vacation guide offered lifejackets for use in the water for those who wanted them, we had a guide in the water with us at all times with a life ring and those who preferred to could keep hold of the life ring and the guide would pull the ring so they remained together. The guide also had an underwater camera and took some absolutely AMAZING pictures and videos of us swimming with the manta rays and turtles and they sent them to us at the end of the tour. On our tour we also swam with turtles and saw lots of other amazing fish and coral. Forever Vacation may not be the cheapest operator of the tours they provide but trust me when I say they are worth absolutely every penny and more. This was an experience of a lifetime I will never forget and for that I will be eternally grateful. Thanks again guys.”
“I am mesmerised to see those sea creatures thrive in the sea. The sea in Nusa Penida is clear and calm. The places they took me is quite safe and there is a guy leading me with tattoos which is easy to find. I enjoyed using my eyes to see beautiful corals, turtles, and mantas. There are other colourful ones too. It is a great experience and I overcame my fear of swimming in the sea too. (Can’t really swim much but had a life jacket) . I also had some videos about me in the sea with turtles will I will cherish. I had a lot of fun. I did panic a bit at the beginning because water came to my nose but it was better after I got used to it.”
