“Great day touring both of these unique places. Maeklong is something you should do just once. Try to book the train from the local station instead to make it more unique.
The floating market was the best part. Having coconut ice cream from another merchant passing on a boat was a truly unique and yummy experience”
“My wife and I did this tour in July 2023 with our two young children (4 and 1). From soon after booking, the company was in contact with us via WhatsApp and were very helpful. They were happy to answer all questions and amended the tour itinerary to accommodate our wishes and our children’s nap time.
The tour itself was very interesting and we enjoyed it a lot. The railway visit was quite fascinating and it was timed to coincide with the passing of the train. The floating markets were quite an experience themselves. There’s lots of interesting things to buy, as well as the standard tourist fair.
The highlight was our wonderful tour guide, Kitty. Not only was she very informative, but she was excellent with our kids. Often carrying the baby and keeping both entertained. She is truly an asset to the company and she made the tour.
There are a number of tour companies that offer this type of tour, but this one was very good. If I had to suggest any changes, the mini van that took us around was a bit old/dated and not one of the plush/luxurious ones you often encounter around Thailand. They should consider that upgrade.”
