Firstly, the experience starts as soon as you book when you get a message asking you to answer some questions to customise your tour - what a great touch.
Joe picked me up from my hotel and we embarked on our days adventure - hitting all the amazing sights of the city. Joe shared with me some amazing insights into Malaysian culture. I was amazed at the peaceful places we found in the chaotic city.
The tour was busy but nothing felt rushed - which is exactly what I was after when booking a tour.
Joe was a brilliant guide / friend - perfect for a solo traveller. He proudly shared his culture but also took some fabulous photos for Instagram.

1) They added me on the tour chat weeks before the tour to already have communication with me. This was great because I needed something later on.
2) And that something was that I got sick before coming to Malaysia with a cough. I asked if they could move our tour for the day after, and they had room! I did pay a small change fee charge. It was great that we were already in communication via WhatsApp chat.
3) Chen picked me up at my hotel and went straight to the tour. We toured the markets, city center buildings, the river, and the Chinese temple before going to the Batu Caves. He took photos of me (attached below) in front of the entrance area. I was able to go up and walk the stairs and caves, and saw monkeys.
After going down, we went to the Petronas Towers. We walked along the park, took more photos, and ate lunch inside.
Last, we drove to the National Mosque. Please make sure you are wearing pants and covered; if not dont worry, you will have to wear a robe. The mosque was beautiful.
4) Chen and the rest of the tour company (via group chat) were very professional and very accomodating, especially due to my sudden sickness. Chen was also personable and funny.
