“Seeing good reviews for this tour, we booked a one day tour. Unfortunately, it was not a tour but more like a car service, without much introduction to the sites. Our guide admitted she needs to brush up on her English. We were mostly left on our own (had to ask our guide Cecilia Wei Yan "aren't you joining us to the Batu Caves?", then she eventually did after renting a shawl). She dropped us off at Petronas Towers and picked us up. She was flexible when we skipped some sites to go shopping, but we went in loops (cost us time) because she pressed the wrong destination twice in her waze app. The free lunch was not in the cleanest eatery. The few photos we asked her to take of us in Batu caves was sadly not Instagram worthy. We were 6 pax in her vehicle and it was cramped without AC on the third row. Her recommended spa ranked 112 in Tripadvisor. At the end of the day, we concluded that we should have just gone on our own and not take this private tour.”
“My tour guide, Hafiz, was perfect! He was very knowledgeable, taught me photography tricks, knew all the perfect angles and took very Instagram-worthy pictures of me! He had answers to all my questions. He’d slow down and speed up as needed. He was very accommodating as well. The lunch was really delicious, local Malay food. I really enjoyed my time, it’s the best way to see all the main attractions and get amazing pictures. I’ll definitely do the tour again when I come back with family in the future!”
“I didn’t know what an Instagram tour really was and chose this because I wanted to see city highlights and work on my own photography during limited time in KL. I am a frequent solo traveler and have worked in educational travel myself for years, so I admit my standards are high. Little did I know how wonderful an experience this would be. Right after I booked, the admin set up a WhatsApp group and allowed me to ask questions, proposed an itinerary, and connected me to my guide. I was paired with Alex, who went above and beyond a typical guide. He was knowledgeable, patient, flexible, funny, and kind. He also took tons of photos of me, which I wasn’t expecting but was nice since I’m usually behind the lens. Alex also knows all the tricks of the trade (from which lane to drive in to the best parking lot for a quick exit to maximize time) that any seasoned guide has. While the tour was loosely slated to end at 5pm, we ended up visiting sites until after 8pm. I would 10/10 recommend this company and this experience to anyone who wants both depth and breadth on a one-day tour.”
“Thanks to our tour guide Chen for a wonderful time! He was very patient with us and took many pictures of us everywhere. He was the best tour guide we ever had to be honest and I will always remember him. He was very funny, friendly, and a great photographer as well! We spent a good amount of time everywhere and I got to visit the main spots of KL in one day. I came for a short period of time in Malaysia and I got to see everything I wanted to see. I will definitely recommend about Chen and ForeverVacation if my family and/or friends plan on coming to Southeast Asia. ForeverVacation also provided excellent customer service as well! “Had the best time in KL with Chen! I had a limited amount of time in KL and we took in a ton in a day and had some really great experiences. Not only is Chen a great guide, he’s an excellent photographer...he taught me a bunch about KL AND how to use my phone! If you can get Chen for your day trip, take him. He’s the best!”
