“This is a super scenic tour - loved it. Rhory was my driver and guide for the day - he was fantastic. He took a lot of photos for me which made the tour really memorable - I don’t usually like to pose for photos but he got me to venture outside my comfort zone which I really appreciated after the fact. This tour takes you through the Jatiluwih rice terrace which is much much bigger (and better) than the Tegallalang rice terrace. It’s gorgeous. Also - if you like Balinese chips (soya bean, cassava, etc) there is a farmer stand that sells all kinds of chips. I bought a ton of bags for my friends at home. Super delicious. The Ulun Danu temple is really beautiful - I thought it was aesthetically a lot more spectacular than Tanah Lot. So if you can do only one of these two, def do Ulun Danu. The other highlight of the tour for me was NungNung waterfall. This is way way less touristy than the more common waterfalls and so you get a much more authentic experience in my opinion. I will note that it’s a hike down to get to it (about 15 min), so be prepared for some cardio on the way back up. I am a huge fan of chocolate and so I made a request to Rhory to take me to two chocolate factories/shops. They were both great - all local ingredients, organic, etc. I bought a bunch to take home. It was a great tour. Super comfortable ride in the car, good music, iPhone charger, Rhory gave me a lot of background info for each spot we went to and took photos for me. Everything was smooth and easy. Thank you for a great time!”

Agus shared so much about the Subak irrigation system and its cultural significance. At Ulun Danu Bratan Temple, the tranquility was unmatched.
