We’d been on other tours where the drivers just took us to es and left us to explore on our own, but we lost a lot of the history and culture of what we were visiting and even missed some of the cool views because we had no one to tell us where to go, what to look for.
So having Suarnaya as a guide was completely invaluable ❤️ He taught us all about the history and culture of the places we visited and of Bali in general. He answered all our questions and told us all the cool secret spots of the places we visited. AND! It was awesome having someone with us to take photos - and really cool, creative photos too!

“This full day trip was incredible. We were picked up from the hotel and our first stop was Jatiluwih rice terrace which was stunning to see. You can do walks through them varying in distance, the shortest only takes about 20 mins.
Next stop was Ulun Danu Beratan temple which was incredibly pretty with wonderful views over the lake and mountains.
Handara Gates was on the itinerary but be aware it can take 30+ mins for your turn to grab a photo. We chose to bypass this.
This was followed by a buffet lunch, which was delicious with plenty of choice for both meat eaters and vegetarians.
Hidden hill had epic views with varying different photo areas, and staff there that will happily help you get the perfect shot. To be this high up the mountain was pretty cool.
Last official stop was the twin waterfalls and these took my breath away. It is a 15 mins steep climb down a path and steps so you need to be physically capable but the waterfall itself made it worth it. This was my favourite part of the trip.
We were ahead of schedule so our driver, Mega took us on a stop to the coffee plantation on the way home where the staff talk you through the process of growing and roasting the beans. It’s a beautiful garden with all the various plants and spices used to make coffee there for you to touch and taste. They also offer a free tea and coffee tasting paddle at the end of it. A really nice way to end the day.
Mega, our guide was wonderful, taking photos every chance he could for us and telling us local information at each stop. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The entire booking process was simple from start to finish, with the company asking us a bit about ourselves before the tour to customize it to suit our ages and interests.
