“The guide and driver was really nice and accommodating! We wish he would have guided us around the temple and told us the history (we felt like we had to pry information a little bit) but by the end of the tour we had a great rhythm going. He took us to an extra coffee stop which we absolutely loved! The waterfall and rice terraces were gorgeous and the lunch spot was great. The gate and the lake overlook are purely to get the "Instagram pics" and have no historical significance whatsoever, and the wait can be ridiculous. Not really our thing as we were hoping for something with more depth and history. Especially because we booked this for the culture and really don't care about getting the perfect pic. However if you want a little bit of both then this tour is perfect as it is 50/50 pics vs. culture. We were just hoping for more of a culture and natural wonders kind of tour. Felt more like a transport than a tour at times, which made the price feel high.
Overall we still really enjoyed our time!”
“We took this private guided tour around Bali to Jaliwutih rice terrace, Ulun Danu temple and Banyumalah waterfalls. Our guide Sugara was very considerate and patient. We were traveling with an infant as well as and elderly person, he customized the tour according to our preference. He went out of the way to stop at additional places for our needs while still maintaining the tour time. He explained the context and history of places to us well. Would definitely recommend giving the tour a try for your Bali trip.”
