“I was picked up by a nice driver and taken to the port. He stayed with me the whole time until i boarded the ferry. i got onto the island and was greeted by another tour guide who then stayed with me until the snorkel boat arrived.
I was on a tour alone literally alone for my birthday that scared me a little bit to be honest but I am very glad my tour guides kept me safe. There was alot of jelly fish and i got stung once but with being the only person i got basically a private tour and they helped me not get stung again.
Land tour was good, roads are very bumpy and small they might make you feel travel sick.
They go to so much effort with photos for you and i wanted to go home early so i could get back to the mainland for my birthday dinner they made that happen too. overall long day but great day”
“5 out of 5 due to our luck in being able to actually swim with the Manta Rays. It's my understanding that as of late, these appearances are much rarer. It is a wild animal so of course that is reasonable to expect, however the description doesn't really get into that aspect too much.
The other island excursion was also great, this island is so beautiful. The lunch included was great! The guides went the extra mile to take great pictures. It is definitely important to rest up the night before, because to get to the more exclusive parts of the island will expend a lot of energy. One DEFINITELY needs to be in pretty good shape, especially if it is hot to navigate the steep stairs if one chooses to trek down to the beach.”
“My wife and I enjoyed this adventure. Robert, our tour guide was quite nice, attentive, and accomodating. I cannot fault him in any way for the second part of our tour which was done inland. He goes beyond and above to make sure you have a pleasant time on the island.
The first part of our tour was snorkelling in 3-4 different bays. This was our first time snorkelling. We shared the boat with just another couple, and there were only 4 of us for this adventure.
My wife and I have little to no experience swimming. Therefore, we were given a floating/life jacket. Initially, the coach gave us all the attention, as my wife panicked; but as time passed, he shifted his attention to the other couple.
Towards the end of the snorkelling adventure, my wife and I felt that we were left completely unattended. Despite that, we still enjoyed the adventure.
We only have around 20 photos together from this snorkelling adventure, and in half of the photos, we are just floating with no fish in the foreground or background. I think this could have been improved if more photos had been taken, or we had more time with the coach.
My final verdict is that if this is your first time snorkelling, this may not be the best adventure for your Instagram! :) If you have a GoPro take it with you.”
“Gandi was amazing along with driving us to our hotel and port! He gave us a lot of information about the tour and was super knowledgeable. Once we arrived in Nusa, Eka was also amazing with our snorkeling tour and best for last is Sutra who was great with showing us around Nusa! All really great folks. Highly recommend doing this tour with these folks!”
“Amazing day snorkelling and touring Nusa Penida, Bali
The excelent day started with a hotel pickup from Wid to Sanur port, Wid was such an amazing guide, and we chatted the whole time about Bali, be using Wid for my next trip! Transferred to Nusa Penida, the Forever Vacation crew looked after us very well transferring, they seemed to be everywhere! Eka was our underwater guide snorkeling, and he took some fantastic photos, and pointed out the best creatures and spots. I was lucky that only 3 of us were on the tour, so it was very personalised.
paid extra for a photographer for land photos, and Giday did a great job, with the photos at Klingking beach, at some points clambering up trees for the best spots. Around Nusa Penida we had Widy as driver, and as he lived on the island, was a great guide for history and answered all my questions.
The whole trip is a life long highlight, the best coral and marine life l've ever seen (l'm from Australia, been to Barrier Reef, Green Island and Port Douglas).
There might be cheaper alternatives, but you'd be hard put to match the quality of the experience and dedication of the Forever Vacation.”
