“We had an awesome time, never felt as good as being in this tour before. Our tour guides were so welcoming in every second. From the pickup time to the end, everything went perfectly. We saw some mantas, turtles and even 1 dolphin. Komang was a great captain, we had so much fun with him during the snorkeling, he always kept his eyes on us and helped us with whatever we need. And our land guide was super awesome as well. He took so many good photos for us. Thanks so much everyone for an amazing experience. We will recommend it to all of our friends and families. “Lets start with the good:Great: The driver Putu! Timely and a good conversationalist. Brought us from Ubud to the port and got us lines out for the fast boat crossing.The scenery is amazing and our island guide took us to some great spots and took great pictures with stunning backgrounds. The stop mid island at the Klumbu for lunch was fine but unspectacular. The bathroom light was broken making the restroom an adventure to use. The bad:Safety: A language barrier when traveling is expected but is an issue when there is no safety briefing, assessment of experience, or orientation of the area to snorkel. We are experienced snorkelers with a newbie. We were dropped into very strong currents with almost no discussion. The combination of rocks and surge was difficult to maintain position or not get swept in. The boat lost sight of us and my wife struggled with the surge to the point of exhaustion. The boat had no visual contact with us and we were forced to swim to the closest boat. We held to the ladder for over 5 mins in which the boat never circled back to any point we could see. Only when we are all the way out could we finally see how far away they were. Equipment: subpar and limited equipment. Only 6 sets laid out. 2 were broken one leaked and another mask, snorkel and set of find a broke while in use for a three person group. Overall in spite of the amazing scenery and a good driver and island guide I can not recommend this trip. Service was fine and I am sure they hire out their boat drivers and it may be different but I wouldnt put my faith in them again. This was not a cheap tour and basic expectations were not met.”
“Great teamwork between Vi, Wayan, Komang & Darma from the booking to keeping us informed along the way, to the transport, lunch to the actual snorkelling and then return home. Next time Id choose to miss the Insta-stops and just do the proper activities thereby reducing the travelling time. No Mantra , but dolphins, lots of fish and turtle was still beautifully clear and great fun. Well done!”

“Janie & Ben arenso quick to contact me via WhatsApp and organized everything so smoothly for my last minute booking for the tour the next day. The tour took place as exactly presented and guides took pictures of us and post on WhatsApp so I was able to download them later. We were lucky to be able to swim with a few Manta Rays! Broken Beach and Kelingking Beach were so beautiful....even after bumpy road trip, it was so worth it. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating, lunch was great also at the local restaurant/hotel. Overall it was great experience!!”
“We are a family of 3 with a 12 years old boy, joined this private Snorkelling tour with Forever Vacation to Nusa Penida, our first time going to this island. There are two good things about the tour - (1) Communication before tour was promptly and good (2) pick up and drop off between guides was good and efficient. Pick up from hotel was punctual, but after we arrived the pier, things became chaotic. Ticketing system of speed boat company was messy, after we have got our tickets, we had to walked across lots of people and walked over a grotty beach to get on a ferry / speed boat which was not easy owing to high tide. Seats inside the speed boat were packed, inside the cabin was very stuffy. I understand it was not under Forever vacations control but they should have told us before hand. Once we boarded on Nusa Penida, we changed another smaller boat and set off for Snorkelling right away. First stop was spotting Manta Ray. We were lucky to be able to meet one or two, but the water was really rough, we three had quite a lot of Snorkelling experience so we were ok, but the other couple on the same boat were sick in the water and needed to go back to the boat after a while in the rough water. The couple could not go to the water again in the next two dives as the lady kept vomiting. We felt so sorry for them. The operator should have managed our expectation and warned us about the condition and arrangement before hand.The second and third Snorkelling spots were fine. Then we stopped for lunch in a local restaurant. We could choose a main dish and a drink, which everything was pretty basic , price for a main dish listed on the menu was from IDR 35000-50000 ( US 2 - 3.2 ) . Price for this tour is pretty high - we paid HK $ 3596 ( about US 460 ); I would expect a better lunch! The guide said we could have a shower there, but it was basically a cold water hose in a grotty toilet. After lunch we went to Crystal bay, which water was nothing close to Crystal, it was pretty grotty indeed with rubbish in the water. And we were not even offered a sun bed or/and umbrella. And we only had 45mins there. A rush beach experience.The returning speed boat arrangement was even worse- since tide was super low, we needed to take a Sampan to reach the speed boat . But there were too many people waiting to board and there was no proper queueing system; when the Sampan came, everyone fought to get on the Sampan like refugees !!! We waited few rounds and finally could got on one. In the end, we were an hour late to get back to Sanur. I heard the government is building a new pier at Sanur, hope the ferry / speed boat system and quality will improve by then. In general, I will not recommend this tour to others.”
