“Couldn’t have imagined seeing Nusa Penida in a day any other way than in the airconditioned comfort of Widiana’s car and in the safe hands of his driving (as there is a lot of traffic and the island is much hotter than Bali)
From the moment we were picked up until the moment we were delivered safely back to the port, our drivers Widiana (and Jay - our driver on Bali) were fantastic. Widiana took us to all of the must see spots on Nusa Penida and showed us how to get great photos and enjoy the views without lining up with the copious amounts of tourist trying to get the perfect Instagram photo. (Although that was certainly an option if that is what you were there for). Widiana was so knowledgeable about the island’s history and Balinese culture and customs that the entire day felt like a wonderful education and conversation with stunning views as a backdrop.
My partner and I had one of our most memorable days in Bali during this tour (it’s our 5th time to Bali) and we cannot recommend it or Widiana enough. If I was heading to this island again I would definitely hire Widiana as our driver again.
