Premium Organic Khorasan Flour
Khorasan is an ancient cereal grain and is part of the wheat family. Organic Khorasan Wholemeal Flour differs from modern wheat, because it has been cultivated in the same way for centuries.
Because it is such an ancient, largely unchanged wheat variety, the cultivation of Khorasan is controlled carefully. It can only bear the name Khorasan if it meets the strict requirements of this special grain. Special care is taken so it is not contaminated with modern wheat varieties.
Khorasan has a rich and buttery taste which goes well in a wide range of bakes. Try using it in a 50/50 mix with Organic Einkorn Flour for an ancient loaf full of flavour and texture.

Khorasan flour is perfect for baking bread, pasta, and pastries, but it’s also great for pancakes, muffins, and pizza dough. It also has more protein, fibre, and minerals than regular flour, giving baked goods a richer flavour and a more nutritious boost. Please note that this flour is not gluten free.
