Organic Tiger Nut Flour has nothing to do with tigers and is not made of nuts!
We love all things tiger nut and think you will too.  Organic tiger nut flour is simply ground down tiger nuts.  Tiger nuts are a nut-like snack which are actually a small root vegetable grown a bit like potatoes.  Just one 25g serving contains high levels of Fibre and is a source of Folate (B9), Vitamin E, Magnesium and Copper.

Tiger nut flour is a tasty and versatile way of getting the nutrition of tiger nuts into a range of meals and dishes.  It is milled down into a fine flour so it can be used in baking.  It combines well with other gluten free flours for tasty baked treats.

If you want a recipe to get started then have a go at this tried and tested Rose and Cacao Cookies Recipe.  Another great recipe with this addictive flour is our banana and walnut cake.

Our Tiger Nut flour is nut free, grain free, dairy free, vegan, raw, organic and non GMO.  If you like foods which are nutrient dense, natural and ancient then this flour is a great alternative to traditional flours.

I am following the auto-immune paleo diet and tigernut flour is the only gluten free flour that I enjoy eating ! The diet does not allow potato which is found in normal gluten free flours, or any grain flours so I am really limited. I have made cakes, pancakes and biscuits with the tigernut flour and it is one of my staple foods.

I am restricted to the auto-immune paleo diet due to a medical condition and as I cannot eat any grains the tigernut flour has been a godsend. I make biscuits and cake from it and find it tastier than plantain and other grain-free flours.
