We love all things coconut for their nutrition and delicious flavour. Coconut is versatile and full of wonderful nutrients. The humble coconut can be used to make oil, dried products and even clothes!
Our organic Coconut smiles are harvested from organic plantations in Sri Lanka. These bountiful coconut farms offer employment to local people. It is great to know that our coconut products comes from an ethical source which offers support to the local community.
Coconuts grow all year round so the standard of our coconut remains high throughout the year. The mature coconuts (or drupes) are cut down by hand using a machete. The outer husk is then removed and burnt for fuel. The white fleshy kernel inside is separated to be washed. Our coconut smiles are taken from the fresh, moist coconut meat which is dried to produce these tasty coconut strips.
