Organic Date Sugar - 2kg Reviews

4.9 Rating 8 Reviews
Read Forest Whole Foods Reviews

Organic Date Sugar is nutrient rich and tastes of butterscotch - win win.
Organic Date Sugar is a perfect choice for anyone following a whole food diet because it is 100% dates!  To make this special sugar the dates are dried and ground down to produce a dense, golden brown sugar. Date sugar contains all the nutrients of the same weight of dried dates.  This makes it a great addition for anyone looking to boost their nutritional content and add flavour to their dishes.

Date sugar is a great addition to baking recipes, curries, raw desserts or simply to sweeten hot drinks.

If you want to get started then experiment by replacing your regular sugar with date sugar in baking.  We also stock organic demerara sugar, organic coconut sugar and organic unrefined cane sugar.

Ingredients: Organic Deglet Nour Dates

Origin: Tunisia / UAE

Allergen Information: Packed on premises that handle gluten, tree nuts, sesame, soya, peanuts, celery, mustard

“I love the subtle flavour and soft texture of the date sugar. It's great to use alone, or sometimes to blend with Unrefined Cane Sugar, when baking. A super healthy and tasty choice to using cane sugar.”

“This is now a staple. I use it as a wholefood sweetner in my brownies, along with apple purree sometimes. It naturally has fiber, so much better for not getting those blood sugar spikes.”
