Organic Peeled Tiger Nuts have been peeled to remove their skins - ouch!
Tiger Nuts are actually a small root vegetable grown and harvested like a potato.  These ones have been peeled to remove their skins which makes them sweeter and less fibrous.

Tiger nuts are an ancient food which are nutrient dense and full of flavour.  Because the process of farming is so easy, the traditional methods of growing, drying and sorting are still done in the same way.  The ancient Egyptians hailed tiger nuts for their healing benefits and now their beliefs are backed by research.

Tiger nuts have an impressive nutritional profile, offering high levels of Phosphorus, Zinc, Copper, Vitamin E and Folate.  The most popular way of enjoying them is making them into a sweet and tasty milk.

Our tiger nuts are organic, raw, vegan and organic which means no GMO.

If you enjoy gluten free baking then try our organic tiger nut flour.

“Not something I will buy again. You need to soak them in water for a few hours, otherwise they are like little rocks. It is not something I have tried before. Not sure what people do with them.”
