Organic Camu Camu Powder is a powdered Peruvian Fruit.
Our organic camu camu powder is ground down from the low-sugar fruit of the camu camu tree.  This bushy tree grows along the rivers of the amazon and is part of the abundant ecosystem there.  Because the camu camu tree is not farmed it benefits from the rich natural soils of the river banks.  The fruit is harvested by communities and not in farming plantations which makes this fruit even more special.

The fresh fruit is dried and ground down into a fine off white/peach coloured powder.  The powder has a sour flavour and adds a tangy kick to juices and smoothies.  In Peru the fruit is traditionally juiced and taken as an elixir to ward off illness.

Camu Camu has high antioxidant status due to its high levels of vitamin C and polyphenols.

Our organic camu camu powder contains a wide range of important nutrients including vitamins, mineral and amino acids.  This nutrient dense fruit powder is non-GMO, raw, vegan and completely natural.

Daily serving suggestion: 5-10g of powder per day per person (1 tsp = 2g).

Ingredients: Organic Camu Camu

Allergen Information: Packed on premises that handle gluten, tree nuts, sesame, soya, peanuts, celery, mustard

If you want tart and sour with minimal bitterness then it’s fine If you want unpleasantly bitter then don’t buy it. Go for Sevenhills. That fact it’s out of stock at them moment is partly because they can’t keep up with demand. That tells you something but the other reason is that they care about the composition and quality of the product and don’t want to compromise on that, so for now they choose not to stock anything inferior
