Organic Ground Flaxseed (Linseed) is ready to sprinkle.
Organic ground flaxseed (linseed) is a very popular whole food which has been cultivated for over 6000 years.  You may sometimes hear these little nutrient dense seeds being called linseeds - they are exactly the same thing.

One 30g serving of ground flaxseed is high in protein, fibre, B1, magnesium and manganese.  Flaxseed is actually one of the richest sources of plant based omega 3 fatty acids (also called alpha-linolenic acid - ALA).

You can buy organic whole flaxseed which are best soaked or ground before use, but this flaxseed has already been ground for you.

Flaxseed is a great binder so it can be added to soups or stews to help them thicken or to help gluten free flours bind.

If you prefer to use the whole seed you could try our organic organic golden flaxseed or our organic four seed mix.

This product is ground to a size of 0.5mm and not finely ground.

Ingredients: Organic Brown Flaxseed

Origin: Poland / Kazakhstan

Allergen Information: Packed on premises that handle gluten, tree nuts, sesame, soya, peanuts, celery, mustard

The flax seed came will packed and in a heavy duty plastic bag complete with storage advice. As a new user of this product I would have liked some advice on the bag as to the maximum amount to be consumed daily. I’ve been adding 2 tablespoons to my breakfast granola which alters the texture and mouthfeel. I find that I’m feeling more full so have been able to cut back on the amount of granola I have. I’ve only been using the flax seed for a few days so I’ve not noticed any other health benefits as yet. Could you consider adding a few recipe suggestions to be included in the package ?

Prompt delivery and much fresher than other brands Ive tried. Bag says it can be recycled. The flax originates from Poland so not too long a journey. I wonder if we grow flax in the UK?

Haven't tried yet. Looks good. I don't like my goods to be too finely milled; vitamins disappear
