Premium Organic Sun-Dried Tomatoes
Organic dried tomatoes are a great speciality product for giving your dishes that extra special flavour. These tomatoes are salted so they need to be soaked in water for 24 hours and then drained before use.

We recommend soaking them in water and then add them to organic olive oil with dried basil and oregano - this is a great shelf staple for adding to sauces and stews. These tasty tomatoes also make a great pizza topping or sandwich filling (with hummus and olives).

If you love Italian flavours, then you will be no stranger to these tomatoes. The drying process of organic tomatoes gives them a distinct richness and sweetness which makes them perfect for countless recipes salads, dips and toppings. As well as tasting delicious, they are rich in the antioxidant lycopene, as well as a whole host of vitamins and minerals.

We also stock organic tomato powder, so consider adding that to your favourite recipes too.

Ingredients: Organic tomatoes, sea salt.

Origin: Italy, Turkey, Uzbekistan

Allergen Information: Packed on premises that handle gluten, tree nuts, sesame, soya, peanuts, celery, mustard.

Note: These tomatoes are salted so they need to be soaked in water for 24 hours and then drained before use.

I rehydrate by putting about 5 or 6 into water, add half a teaspoon of salt and microwave for 2 minutes perhaps a little longer until they're soft. Great flavour.
