If you like sesame then you will love our Organic Light Raw Tahini!
Our Organic Light Raw Tahini is unroasted and contains only two ingredients; organic sesame seeds and organic cold pressed sesame oil. The result is a deliciously flavoured natural and nutritious tahini.

The sesame is sourced from an environmentally sustainable producer in the Humera District of the Tigray region of Ethiopia.

Tahini is a classic middle eastern condiment used in many dishes including Baba ghanoush, Hummus and Halva. It has a creamy, nutty, savoury flavour profile and is perfect to enjoy by its self or as an ingredient in salad dressings, dips and sauces.

Tahini is quite low in calories and high in fibre, protein, and an assortment of important vitamins and minerals.

Ingredients: Organic Hulled Sesame Seed, Organic Cold Pressed Fair Trade Sesame Oil

Origin: UK / Ethiopia / Burkina Faso / Mali / Bolivia

Allergen Information: Packed on premises that handle gluten, tree nuts, sesame, soya, peanuts, mustard. This product contains sesame. Food, Beverages & Tobacco > Food Items > Nuts & Seeds

Unfortunately I didn't really like this tahini. I found the texture quite gritty and the taste was a bit odd - this may be due to it being raw. I'm used to tahini being a bit more like peanut butter in texture, but this is not like that at all. I'm sure it will suit someone else, but sadly I won't be repurchasing...

Different texture from conventional tahini - less solid - but delicious

Haven't used much of it so far but used it for making humous, which added to the flavour. Good size jar.
