“I glued the rubber caps to the magnets which hold my GPS on my rucsac strap. They reduced the pull of the magnets and in the rain they came off. When I got the 5.5kg pull magnets I didn't bother with the rubber caps”
Thank you for sharing your experience, we're sorry to hear that the rubber caps didn't meet your expectations and that they came off in the rain - unfortunately when adding non-magnetic coverings to magnets this will create an air gap between the magnet and the area in which the magnet is being attracted to, and as such reduce the performance of the magnet.
