These magnets are just as described, and do the job for me perfectly. I've replaced the old magnet in an early hornby dublo locomotive with a pair of these small magnets, together with a steel nut as a spacer to make up the length to match the original. Job done, engine runs beautifully.
(Note first4magnets do a special magnet for the later locomotives which will fit these directly without any extra fiddling about)”
