Suprised that they fractured very easily as some had chards brake off revealing the inner material which seemed a ceramic substance? Is this occurance normal? have I not handled them correctly?”

Regarding the fractures you experienced, Neodymium magnets by their nature are brittle and can chip if allowed to attract together with force. “Perfectly sized as a result they fitted stright into a Brembo disc bobbin with no clearance but no requirment to force into place. Because of this excellent fit just a very small amount of epoxy was required to hold the magenets in place. Tthe pull on the magents is very good they create a nice field around them and thus drive speedo pick ups nicely. All this and great value for money”
