“I got this saw about a month ago and it has been amazing so far. I tend to work wit both wood and metal around the farm, so the fact that this can handle both materials is very useful. Out of the box all of the measurements were dead on perfect so I didn't have to make any adjustments at all. I was concerned the slow motor speed might not be the best for wood cutting, but it makes absolutely beautiful cuts and I didn't have any issues with burning. Overall, this is probably the best bang for your buck saw out there in the 10" size class. If there are any negatives, it would be that the saw start up and cut speeds are a bit slow since it's engineered with the torque required to cut metal. It may not be the best saw for a fast paced construction site where speed counts.”

“Great saw, easy to assemble and very versatile. I had to calibrate the angles slightly after assembly but that is to be expecteded with any precision cut tool.”

“The saw is very usable and cuts very nicely. The multi-material blade worked just fine cutting both aluminum tubing and flat stock. Smooth operation and very nice cut.”

“This well built 10” miter saw does all of what other top wood cutting mitersaws do; and does it well. However, unique to Evolutions miter saw, the saw can also cut metal and plastics and all with the same 10” blade. That’s a standout differentiator in the Mitersaw market place.”

“So far it is working great, bought it for cutting metal. I haven't cut a lot of material yet but so far it is doing well. I am most impressed with Evolution's customer service, they were very helpful and quick to respond.”

“Cuts well and precisely. Dust extraction is good but it does leave a good bit in the work area. I'm running a cyclone dust extractor on it and not a shop vac. I had to get used to the slow start on the motor but it is powerful. I've been cutting several 4x4's for a project and it works perfectly.”
