“Used this tool for the first time today. Easy to assemble and prepare. I was cutting MDF skirting boards. The dust bag is not supplied with this model and I would question how safe it is to use, without this on MDF. I have ordered the bag as an accessory but think for the small additional cost it should be supplied with the saw.”

“The Evolution R255 SMS saw was all I expected as advertised, well constructed very easy to assemble and on first impressions well thought out and the R & D have listened to other purchasers as to nice use of depth cut and flip back tab to return to straight cut, metal blade guard a very nice point, so one a whole well satisfied with the saw, well done Evolution, The one and only issue which was proof of customer service I noticed on assembling the saw there was a single label missing indicating the angle on the compound angle, but after one phone call to the customer services who were very helpful, they sent out a replacement label (receiving it next day) so if this is the standard of customer service, 5 ***** well done and cannot thank them enough for good old fashioned customer service, will definitely look at further products from this company.”

“I should have bought one of these a long time ago it is so easy to use. The quality of build is superb and the accuracy is spot on. It makes mitre cutting so easy. .I am very impressed with the machine all round. I also purchased the stand for this saw and the two together are brilliant.”

“This is my 2nd mitre saw from Evolution. The last one, a 210 gave me excellent service. Used to refurb at least 10 houses and countless other smaller jobs before I dropped it off the back of my truck and cracked the casing. I went for the larger RS255 because I needed a greater cutting width. So far so good. Once set the angles are very accurate. Cuts really clean with very little tearing. The small improvements over my old saw are very welcome. Value for money is excellent. I couldn't justify spending twice the amount of money on a "Brand" when the Evolution R255sms does everything I need it to. I can highly recommend it.”
