“Having already had an evolution sliding mitre saw for 2 years now, the overall quality and performance came as no surprise. What really irks me is how stingy with the cable.....6 ft is all....not helpful when trying to cut 8 foot sheets. How dear is cable at wholesale prices? My other recent purchase elsewhere was a Worx jigsaw and even that came with 10 feet of cable, a perfect length without dragging the extension around after you like an errant puppy on a short lead. Cable length has been mentioned by many before by all accounts....A great cut though. 10/10”

“The product is good and has fulfilled all expectations. Value for money. One small negative is the adjustment screw for blade depth. Thsi is plastic and may break in time. A metal alternative might be considered.”

“Purchased to replace an old saw used to cut wood for the wood burner. This cuts through everything i can throw at it. The blade has so far easily dealt with embedded nails and screws. I have checked the blade for damage and the only thing which is marked is the paint finish ! Excellent saw, i wish i had bought one years ago.”

“I bought this to help in the construction of a large garage/workshop. It was used for cutting 2 x 4's (roof components) 20mm sheet ply (roofing) and creating a workbench within from similar materials. Was also used for cutting soffit timber (@ 8' long straight cuts), trim board (25mm thick timber) and repairing a table saw (aluminium insert for blade area). The saw was admirable in that the cuts were fine edged, requiring little sanding/finishing, the metal cutting was accurate and effortless, the tool was used above head height without fear of kickback, such was the smooth/effortless operation of the tool. Very pleased with purchase and would unreservedly recommend to anyone, tradesman or competent DIY'r.”
