“This is great stand it assembled easy. The adjustable legs are a great feature, adjusts to the height that you feel comfortable with, very solid construction. My Evolution 380CPS 14 inch Chop Saw fits on it perfect and allows the right height for the work station.”

“The stand should not be sold with this chop saw arms can support very little weight and only come out maybe 2 ft. This would suffice for wood. Not metal. The stand it self is good. Attachments, sub par at best.”

We understand that the arms can support very little weight and only come out 2 ft., which would be enough to support wood, but not metal. “It does what it is advertised to do and for the money is decent value. Note that if you currently use a more traditional stand for your chop saw (I was using an old cut off wheel, fixed leg stand - this has a much larger footprint at floor level, which footprint gets even larger the more you extend the legs. That increased footprint may seem obvious from the photos, however the stand takes up more room than I planned. Mine arrived with most of the pre-installed hardware loose and I had to search for one screw that was buried in the packaging. Many of the welds are poor. Some are incomplete, some are stop cratered. Absolutely ZERO and I mean ZERO metal prep before powder coating. Powdered right over all the weld spatter - which is everywhere. All the plastic friction fit caps had slag sticking out that no one bothered to pull off. No big deal - just a less than professional appearance for what is marketed as a premium product. Since I plan to void my warranty pretty quickly by scabbing on some brackets and adding casters I would have rather saved another few dollars and bought a refurb which is what I suggest to anyone considering buying this stand. No sense buying this item new since with such poor finish quality. I was also surprised that my Evolution saw was not able to use both of the hold down clamps - at least not and leave the saw still fully functional. The saw is however, held firmly by all 4 clamps. All in all a decent product with a mediocre finish.”
