Purchased Fury from B&Q last week, it was not on display, I asked if they had a 255mm saw by Evolution, they said they had in the Stores that was returned to the store. When Inreturned home opened the box and found that the wood clamp was missing, I contacted your customer services and was told to send the proof of purchase, which I did, they informed me that the saw serial number indicated that it was dated July 2015 , I asked if the saw was out of date and superceded by a later model, Customer services failed to answer this question also should have B&Q been selling this model which was two years old and not on display. my missing clamp arrived yesterday. I found the saw to be very accurate after a little tweaking setting it up,however I have a small gripe, the labels which are stuck on the work area, they are quite hard to get off, appart from that the saw does exactly what it says on the tin,

The saw does a good job & is well constructed. The only issue I have is the cutting stop clamp. When I tightened it the cast underneath cracked. I had not even used the saw then ! Expected more from British made. I also bought the mitre saw stand which is very sturdy. Again I was shocked when I opened the box to find half the parts were missing & had to return back to screwfix. They replaced & said they had a number of these returned !

Although I have used mitre saws in the past, this was my first purchase of a brand new sliding mitre saw. The build quality appears to be very good and there was minimal setting up to do prior to it's first use. I am a DIY'er rather than a professional trades person; the FURY 3-XL has proved to be easy to use and has performed as described. Very pleased so far. Thank you.

As a keen DIY enthusiast I decided to purchase a mitre saw, I looked at various products by different manufactures, read reviews and decided when on a trip to B&Q to purchase the Evolution Fury 3XL. "What an amazing saw", my first project was to fit a laminate floor and new skirting, this saw made the job hassle free cutting through the laminate without a problem, and cutting the angles for the skirting (and there were many) simple, the cuts were clean and fit together perfect. Before my next project I am thinking of purchasing the stand then I will have the ultimate tool for DIY. Excellent Saw, excellent price (thanks B&Q) would highly recommend the Fury 3XL to anyone, the blade even cuts metal, it is well built and looks solid and professional well done Evolution from a very satisfied customer.
