“While you can do without or make your own.. This very reasonably priced alternative is the safest easiest way to make your saw ready for crosscut sled and tall fence type jigs. Fits just as well as the standard riving knife. perfect width for fine wood blade. Basically.. you should buy this!”

“We all know how easy it is to change the Trench cut riving knife on the Evolution R255TBL+ and above all how easy it is to make sure it is aligned to the blade. The knife is the same thickness as the one shipped with the saw and it is a vital accessory for your table saw if you want to make dados.”
