“Bought the side extension table for the R255 tblx + to afford more support when cutting larger boards. The extra support is obvious in use and makes the task in hand both easier and safer. Solid when mounted to the table, it's a shame that the two thumb screws aren't included but I was fortunate enough to have a pair sent free of charge when making an enquiry with the very helpful customer service team at Evolution. Well made, nicely finished and delivered in short order . Well done to all concerned, keep up the great work”

“This extension, as simple an idea as it might be, adds a whole new dimension to the R255TBL giving the saw some extra real estate, making the task of breaking down a full sheet of ply a whole lot easier. That wasn’t my sole reason for purchasing the extension, as with the advent of Evolution modifying the mitre slots of the R255TBL to ¾”, it become possible, and certainly worthwhile, to purchase and use a 3rd party mitre gauge, many of which have telescopic extensions. You will quickly find that extending your mitre fence with no left hand support, will cause the entire mitre gauge to become unbalanced and start to lift out of the slot. However this is not the case if you are the owner of the Evolution extension, and therein lie two good selling points for the price of one! Was there anything negative? Well yes, you guys might have chucked in a couple of knobs to lock the extension in place, stop being so mean you people!!!”
