“This saw deserves all the praise it gets on Youtube. The features are up there with saws casting 50% more. Construction seeems solid and features like the built in carry handles and solid feet ewith attachments all help secure it to the work surface. My only criticism is the very tin kerf blade that comes with it, it flexes quite badly on thin cuts. I've now replaced it and will only use it if I need to cut other materials. But the new blade cuts straight and true.”

“Only been using this for a day but seems very sturdy. Simple to set-up although instructions could be better. Sliding table is a good feature plus the way that the fence works on a rack system which makes adjustment very easy. Good sturdy fence. It could use a more flexible hose adaptor at the rear (I use this mounted in a work bench so the 45deg angle is not ideal but I will make something.) Nice feature that the base is open which makes it much easier to keep clean. Good solid plate for the blade which is makes it easy to remove.”

“I am new to using a table saw which made me very thorough in my research to ensure that I understood the features of all the available options that may prove useful, ultimately it came down to a choice of two which pitted the Evolution against a top name and while budget was a consideration it was not the priority. The features, in particular the out feed support and built-in mitre sled meant that it was better equipped than a market leading brand as well as being significantly less expensive. I have now owned my table saw for 6 months, it is not used heavily, I am a hobbyist, but when needed it is absolutely invaluable, the accuracy and ease of each cut is impressive even for someone with little experience such as myself. The only additional purchase I have made is a fine wood blade but truth be told the included blade did a perfectly acceptable job and the mitre sled has proven to be the asset I had hoped it would be making cuts so easy with no risk at all of the sled catching or movement. The only slight criticism is that the stand is not the sturdiest, it is fine when moving the saw around but can have a little movement when working, this has never caused me any problem or effected the accuracy of a cut as obviously the whole table moves but it really is the only small negative I have identified to mention. I have a number of evolution tools now and all have proven to be reliable, well made and with good specification, An excellent tool, great features and exceptional value.”

“I'm just a novice in using a table saw but I doubt if there are any better ones on the market. Its unerringly accurate, it's portable, it's flexible and it's much quiter than some reviews suggested. It's already proved to be great value for money. The only slight improvement I might suggest is to provide written instructions to support the drawings.”
