“More than a 1/16th" of runout in the blade out of the box. Very frustrating and difficult or impossible to cut precision 8020 extrusions. Does not produce clean cuts (aluminum gums up in the cut face due to the rubbing) until the blade sinks deep enough into the material to stabilize the wobbling blade. I returned the saw for warranty and the replacement had the exact same problem. I checked before cutting any material. I checked that the wobble was not in the blade, and a dial indicator show runout on the ground face of the spindle. Very surprising to have this kind o quality issue for a premium priced saw made in Japan. You would think the would be a critical feature control that would be inspected .”

“Very functional, well made. Clamp system works well and is fast. Downsides: for a high end model, it lacks a few finish items, like storage for the v-blocks and pin holder.”

“What a great saw! Clean cuts. Super accurate miters. So EZ to use. Sold my Morse Metal Devil after I bought it - being able to miter to the right is a huge plus when cutting angle iron that has different height sides. Wish I had this saw 30 years ago.”

“IÕve only used it a couple times. 6 cuts with1/8" stainless steel and two cuts with _" three inch square aluminum tubing. All cuts were perfect. Zero burrs or sharp edges and the metal was cool to the touch. Cuts a lot faster than I anticipated. The clamps work great and hold the metal securely. I love the levers on the clamps so you donÕt have to screw the clamps all the way in and out to hold different size material. You just lift the levers , slide the clamps to where you need them then release and screw tight.”
