“This chop saw is the best thing for cutting metal since sliced bread this is save me so much time so much more accurate no metal clean up when I'm done no changing blades all the time and when I say it cuts through metal like butter I've heard that saying didn't grasp it till my very first cut so quick so clean the metal is cool as soon as you pull it out if you're into any kind of metal work you need this saw it's amazing it is cut down my time on jobs tremendously not having to stand there with a regular chop saw grinding through each piece of metal that needs to be cut wasting tons of time this thing is so quick so accurate even as a weekend warrior you will love this thing”

“I purchased the S14MCS on a recommendation from TYR Manufacturing for technical precision miter cuts on long stock in my small shop space. I have had high quality abrasive and metal cut off saws using a variety of blade models and manufacturers over 35 years. The quality of the saw components, attention to RPM ramp up and braking, excellent hold positions with provided slip on jigs for clamps, and blade quality have exceeded my expectations! After 500 cuts in square & round tubing, angle and plate the blade is still like brand new. In my experience with previous saws I would occasionally chip a tooth due to lack of effective clamping and/or blade upward movement prior to blade stop. The quality, efficiency and use of the adjustable height rail and clamps has made a tremendous difference and when coupled with the motor braking, I feel confident in the blade rating life. The only challenge I have is the lowest rail position for clamping makes it hard to lock and unlock the miter function to turn the head. I'll get better at this. Thank you for designing and producing such an excellent product and making my daily work more enjoyable while greatly improving quality of cuts. I don't miss grinding at all.”
