“The plugs that hold the brushes in on the saw are very brittle and don‚Äôt have a very deep slot for your flathead screwdriver. I was able to get one with a lot of difficulty and the other side broke and also broke the internal treads when it snapped. I have taken the saw to a repair center in the city to see if they could fix it because of how badly it broke. The repair man said that the evolution saws have one of the worst designs for the brushes and he has a lot of trouble with them as well. I love the brand and I just bought the 7-1/4 chop saw to use while the 14‚Äù is in the shop. It‚Äôs been working flawlessly but I bet when it‚Äôs time to replace the brushes I‚Äôm going to have the same problem.”
