“The saw is of good quality and very sturdy. The exceptionally large surface area to work with sets this saw above other table top saws in this price range. The only issue is the instruction manual for table assembly is hard to understand and the pictures being so small make it hard to identify the parts especially bolts required at each stage.”

“Purchased a couple of weeks ago and only used a couple of times. The base unit is made of a lot of moulded plastic and looks quite cheap but appears to work okay. The only real issue I have is the quality of the fence locking system it’s made again of plastic that looks like it will wear quickly, also the fence is not adjustable when it’s out of square to the blade as mine is, which is causing problems. Maybe I’m missing some hidden adjustment screws. I have contacted Evolution by email but no response yet.”

“An excellent budget table saw. Relatively straightforward to assemble - the YouTube video is really good. Setting the blade/table angle using a digital inclinometer was simple - adjustment was easy to achieve. In-use, the saw has exceeded my expectations. It has achieved the accuracy required and fence etc adjustments are accurate and easy to achieve. I also like the storage position that simply minimises the space required when the saw is not in use.”

“Excellent tool for the money. Very decent bed, works really well. Only thing to mention is that the clamp for the fence catches on the fence attachment when it's sticking out at the front, but that's a very minor thing.”

“The actual table saw took very little setting up and cuts great. The instructions to the legs may as well never have been written. I ended up following a you tube video. But once done works well. A lot bigger than I expected and very happy with this. Great saw and a massive improvement on my 1st tablesaw. I would recommend this saw. The bad or poor reviews may have got a damaged unit”
