“Easy to assemble, just a bit fiddly in places, but the base is firm and secure and the saw works well with a Henry vacuum cleaner attached. Still a bit dusty, but much less so than with a chop saw. Still not used it very much but am laying some laminate flooring, which should give it a good workout over the next few weeks.”

“When I came to assemble my Fury5-S there were a few issues. The 7 coach bolts / nuts required to attach the fence guide were missing, however I emailed to sales with my serial number and proof of purchase and was sent the missing parts by post a couple of days later. The fence is supplied configured for operating on the left side of the saw blade, but the setup documentation and the product images expect the fence to be on the right side of the saw blade. It took a little while to figure out how to re-configure the two part fence to be the same as the picture. The installation instructions for the struts supporting the table extensions suggest that it is "good practice" to put a large washer on both sides of the bolt hole, but no such washers are supplied. If it's such "good practice", they should be included. The fence did need adjustment to be parallel and if you do adjust it, the two hex bolts need to be *really* tightened afterwards because otherwise the fence can be knocked out of true when cutting heavy sheets (e.g. 18 mm ply) giving an inaccurate cut. Having said all that, now that I have it assembled and set up, I am well pleased with the product so far, it does what I need it to do.”

“First off - I really like Evolution brand saws - I have the Rage hand circular saw, Rage Jigsaw and Rage Mitre saw and stand. So in looking for a table saw Evolution was my first point of call. With the multi use blade and their reliability I really recommend the brand a good choice. Having never owned a table saw before I was still a bit cautious but eventually opted for this Fury table over the Rage model as it seems better for my workshop needs. When it arrived I was a bit concerned as it wasn’t packed particularly well in the box - the frame is just in put around the main unit so needless to say it was all rattling and loose. I recommend getting everything out to ensure it’s complete before you even start to build it. If you have a missing part and you are half way through assembly it will be a real pain to strip back down to send back. I quickly tested the saw too before assembly- check everything is away from the blade and just fire it up as-is just to ensure it’s not dead out the box. There are a lot of nuts and bolts but assembly is straight forward, you build it upside down then flip it over and add the guard and front guide/fence rail. It is a powerful beast - a lot more power than the Fury mitre saw of similar size. It’s so easy to use too with the quick and easy height and angle wheel. The fence will be way out when you first assemble it and this will take time to adjust and get true. I had to tweak mine a few times to get it true and in line with the measuring scale on the front guide. My only niggle and hence loss of a star is you can’t fully lower the blade with the top guard in place so if, like me, you want to use the blade to score wood rather than cut it, you have to remove the top guard - luckily it’s on a wingnut so it is quick and easy to do. Overall I really like this saw - it should be fine for any diy / hobby workshop.”

“Perfect for DIY jobs. Once setup, having checked the fence for square and blade for angle it does a good clean accurate cut. To make it better: have a full width fence, allow the blade angle adjust to go past 90deg - 95 say- so that 90deg could be dialled in better. At the moment I have to rely on ' zero' on the angle control gauge to be 90, and it has to be absolutely forced to zero on the angle control to get 90deg. Only one last negative point: the stabilizer bars at the bottom of the front legs are a trip hazzard. But I love it.”

“For a mediocre DIY man, this is really good. Used it in anger for the first time today, and it did all I needed it to. Took a while to put it together, would recommend you read the installation instructions thoroughly before you start, as that may also help you save some time. The guide, could do with a second fixing point as it can twist marginally. Glad I got it though, and for the price it is a great addition to the workshop.”
