Love this but if kit. Previously had a Ryobi, also very good, but this provides a very nice table with solid rip fence and very handy mitre. Price hard to beat, also service going direct to Evolution was really good - screwfix is my go to but they are struggling to supply certain products at the moment. Only downside is the blade guard - should be made of clear plastic so you can see through it easily or should be able to lift up completely so you can line up the blade to your line before cutting.

Works well but was delivered with a key part missing. One of the leg stiffening braces was the wrong size and a replacement has been ordered.

Brilliant piece of kit, the table stands at the right height to make cutting easy. Still testing the life of the blade but excellent finish so far. Would definitely recommend.

Superb saw action, great blade, feels smooth. My only gripe is that I expected a solid aluminium top and it’s pressed steel so only time will tell

Sadly the blade is not true it has a wobble too it but still cuts very well I noticed the wobble when I powered the machine to see if all works well and that’s when I noticed the wobble of the blade.

I'm a regular DIYer and I found this saw to be a very good, mid-range product. Slits 75mm softwood posts with ease. Worked well for making trellis and posts out of reclaimed timber. Cuts through 3mm nails easily, but I would only do this if extracting the nail is not an option. The blade sometimes gives a rough cut and sometimes very smooth. It's all about the type of timber I guess. Pros: Affordable, powerful, stable, adjustable, fairly accurate. Cons: Table isn't completely flat. It dips in on both sides, toward the blade, by about 1mm. Finding 90 degree vertical can be tricky. The fence locking is a bit weak and can move when in use. I use an extra clamp for added stability. The built in rule is not perfect, so always check your cutting width with a ruler. I'm also a bit wary about the angle markings, so again, check it with a protractor or similar. It does say this in the booklet anyway. The dust extraction is great for airborne dust, but you do get a pile of heavier sawdust on the floor underneath the machine. I use a Titan vacuum cleaner at 32ltr per second flow. Maybe a more powerful vacuum would do better. Overall, I'm very happy with it and enjoy using it.
