“I have also bought the xl saw bench to go with my new saw. There are hexagonal holes in the saw base feet to capture the nuts that hold it to the base plate from the saw stand but the bolts that come with the saw stand dont turn due to the square shaft therefore you finish up using washers to hold it above the fixing holes and tighten the nuts. It would be better if the two parts fitted together more seamlessly / ergonomically. I like everything about the saw operation except that it doesnt capture much sawdust even when connected to my Henry hoover. There was a screw missing from the box but Evolution sorted that out next day no problem.”

“Another Awesome Evolution Tool added to me ever grow collection of your power tools. The saw is exactly what I expected and does exactly what I mlneeded it to do. This new saw had just replaced my 15yr old 110v Evolution saw that has never let me down in any way shape or form. Let's hope this new saw lasts as long without any issues, which im very sure it will do. Thanks again Evolution for supplying affordable excellent equipment to us DIY and Professional wood workers.”

“Bought this saw to replace an old one. It’s very good indeed. V clean accurate cuts and very stable on the stand. Shame evolution have scrimped a little on build quality and features as it is the corded equivalent of the 36v cordless saw. The end plates on the cutting deck are plastic, alloy would have been nice. No zero rip plastic cutting plate included either which was a shame but otherwise an excellent saw.”

“Nice piece of kit, good value for money with the two blades, covered all the cutting I do, real easy to put together and easy to use and powerful. The only downside side was the length of time it took to received it from yourselves, ordered on 29th December and delivered 13th January, okay given that we had some snowfall and travel was a bit of a problem. Seemed to take a long time consideration given that it says overnight. Last issue was that the box was open and we have now checked all parts were there. The evolution multi blade had some rust marks and the dust bag showed sign of mould in the stitching. Otherwise very happy”

“Well packed , reasonably easy assembly, just two nuts left in the box?? I found fixing the normal wood cutting blade required much more force on the hex key than could be applied by hand. ( a similar attachment on an angle grinder seems so much more positive ) On my first try I was still able to turn the blade by hand with the axis locked?? I rechecked, made sure the washer was correct face out and tightened again using a pipe to extend the hex key. All now satisfactory. The laser guide seems quite inadequate. All my cuts are made after trial lowering the blade onto the work piece. The light is flickering but I am unable to trace it where it matters. I have not ventured into work that requires bevels, so cannot comment further. Disappointed to see the same saw much cheaper on Screwfix”
