“Well packed , reasonably easy assembly, just two nuts left in the box?? I found fixing the normal wood cutting blade required much more force on the hex key than could be applied by hand. ( a similar attachment on an angle grinder seems so much more positive ) On my first try I was still able to turn the blade by hand with the axis locked?? I rechecked, made sure the washer was correct face out and tightened again using a pipe to extend the hex key. All now satisfactory. The laser guide seems quite inadequate. All my cuts are made after trial lowering the blade onto the work piece. The light is flickering but I am unable to trace it where it matters. I have not ventured into work that requires bevels, so cannot comment further. Disappointed to see the same saw much cheaper on Screwfix”

“Purchased this saw hoping it would give DIY life; I was wrong. I write with regards to my purchased, direct from evolution, reference Rage 3DB F1623UK00174 Mitre Saw that has developed a fault that I am unable to overcome within my manual. The whole of the saw has locked in the 40 degree tilt position so that I am unable to use the saw, for even cutting firewood. I cannot trace this model in your listings other than it is not possible to repair this model if it is out of guarantee, this seems rather extortionate for a product that lauds to be suitable for either DIY or semi trade purposes; the fact that it seems to have been discontinued points that this machine is/was not fit for purpose”

Your machine was manufactured in 2016 and this model was discontinued around 2018 , We therefore have no spare parts available to repair this , You could try a local repair centre they may be able to assist .
