“Hi have just purchased and used the R210CMS Mitre Saw so thought i would just tell you how Impressed i am with the saw my first Evolution tool,once set-up it went through the work with no problems at all Pine, Elm, Oak nice straight level cuts don't push the blade to hard or fast and it gives a nice clean cut and the saw is built very solid, Light weight and small enough to move easily from job to job On another note i would also like to congratulate Evolution on the environmentally friendly minimum inner packaging used ie no big polystyrene blocks just shows what British designers can do with a little thought. “This chop saw is a little jem. I've cut wood and aluminium with it so far and it's performed faultlessly, the only criticism I have is that it needs a carry handle of some sort, a couple of nuts welded onto blade upper guard so a handle can be placed if needed would make a huge difference and I'd give this saw 5 stars for an occasional tool, simply brilliant.”

“The evolution r210cms is a great bit of kit, £59 was a bargain price from screwfix. I would say, it was a low cost purchase, which is definitely not the case when it comes to the build quality and performance of this little miter saw, but bear in mind, it is only a little mites saw and is only really good for cutting 5 inche wide materials or less. The saw is almost ready to go straight out of the box, you just need to make sure that the fence is square with the blade, easy enough to do with a set square. It would probably be a good idea to purchase the Stand as well, as the stand clamps the saw into place, i found that on a normal workmate the saw tends to slide around a lot and does need to be screwed down as it is not weighty. I did not purchase the stand, as i have loads of screws and pennywashers, I screwed it to my workmate. Job done. I would like to say, I will only be using and have only used this saw for cutting timber, although I'm sure the r210cms will perform just as well on the other materials advertised. The only downside for me is that the saw does not have a slow start and you can feel the kick in the handle as soon as you engage the trigger. I would buy the evolution r210cms again if I needed to, and I would definitely recommend it to a friend and I would recommend it to you the person reading this.”
