“Amazing best saw I have owned for the money. My old dewalt cost 4 times the money and was no better! Out of the box I cut steel box and it was good. Then cut joists and it handled them fine with a lot of power.”

“Lovely cutting saw but it does have the Chinese feel about it, but I suppose you have to look at the price paid, If I wanted a saw that was being used for fine joinery every day would probably pay for a more expensive make, but on saying that these Evolution blades cut like a knife through butter.”

“Solid bit of kit. Cuts through decking with ease, also 100 mm posts with little or no effort. Good cutting length. Only thing annoying is the laser, as with other models gets clogged with sawdust.”

“The saw was easy to set up with only small adjustments to set the blade square. It cuts fine but I will probably shim up the table to reduce the amount of tear out. I use it mainly for wood but also on pvc pipe where it gives a much better cut than hand saw. However the dust bag (purchased afterwards is useless. Most of the dust comes out of the back of the machine and I will have to set up downdraft extraction. The length stop is also fairly poor as it is so short.”
