“Fast delivery and well packaged. Fitting guard mechanism kit straight forward. Only problem is the spring tension hole on the kit is in a different place making the spring very slack and none functional. You have to shorten or buy a new spring to make the guard mechanism operable.”

“Parts came quickly, the only criticism is that a fitment diagram would be useful for the safety guard retractor mech because the broken one being replaced was not intact so could not be used as a template.”

“So glad Evolution still stocks this part which commonly fails due to users trying to force the saw through the timber instead of allowing it to cut. The rivets are sheared off by the blade as the mechanism is bent under pressure inside the guard. At one point 6 months ago, I thought I would have to scrap an otherwise perfectly good chop saw after lending it out to someone who did just that. £18.99 (INC DEL) well spent!”
