“So far I have only used the multi-material blade for softwood and plywood. The blade does a good job with very minimal splintering and cut marks. Like all circular saws, the dust collection is poor. I personally do not like having to hold up the blade guard when aligning on to the track. An engineered holding open device could surely be achieved. Overall I would still recommend the R185CCSX to others for DIY use.”
