“Bought to avoid regular trips to hire shop for small jobs. Ideal. And no dodgy petrol engine to try and start ! Not powerful but will easily compact 5x5m type 1 base or smaller areas of crushed chalk for barn floor repairs. Will pay for itself I’m sure.”

“Doing a job at home changing out a rotten deck for gravel. This needed whacking down. I could have hired a petrol whacker that would have done a quicker job but I would have to fetch it and take it back within the hire period. For my own convenience I bought this. It did the job, was quieter than a petrol machine so no complaints from the neighbours and it’s mine.”

“Needed a compactor for patio I'm laying and this is ideal to compact the hard-core base before laying slabs. Very easy to set up from box, lightweight compared to the petrol ones I've hired but more then enough for this job and the path at bottom of garden. With this having and induction motor makes it much quieter than the petrol ones, but I still wear ear protection when using. Overall very happy with purchase.”
