Bought direct from evolution arrived very quick. Very good for my small garden project. Cheaper than renting for me. It does the job.

This is a great item for the DIY'er, if your project is a big car park or extra runway on the local airfield I'd consider something a bit more substantial! For me, I was laying a 20msq patio and the Hulk was used for compacting type 1 MOT subbase, it did this with ease The machine is well packed and is protected inside the box, the weight is aporox 30kg, so depending on your level of fitness its possible to single lift, but if you have help to lift it, use it! Once out of the box its a case of putting together the handle, its only aligning a couple of handle poles and 4 bolts and your good to go. Operating the Hulk couldn't be easier, simply depress the safety button on the handle and pull back the lever and your away. The momentum of the machine takes it forward without effort there is no need to push the machine, the Hulk is fairly quiet with only a low dull noise coming from it while in operation. The lead was long enough for my job, but if you're doing a long path into the depths of your garden, you might need an extension lead. There were a few frustrating things, not major faults but the bolts securing the handle kept vibrating loose, I used some loctite on the offending bolts and this was then sorted. I'd 100% reccomend the product and Good luck with your project!

A great alternative to a petrol compactor, just build in thinner layers rather than a large thickness. At the price I paid it was a bargain, this will be great while I build my extension.

What an excellent too for a really reasonable price, it did a fantastic job on my driveway compacting the sand then the gravel to the point where the gravel is tightly packed and hardly moves I would definately recommend this compactor at least from a diy perspective. The fact its electric means its clean and no fuel needed so I suppose you could use it indoors if necessary, the cord is a reasonable length and the whole thing is small enough to fold away which is another bonus all thumbs up from me.

Does a good job for its size. Easy to move around. Keep checking the handle bolts as they vibrate loose.
