“The sound is not super bassy, but very adequate for Ballroom and Latin dancing. It won't annoy the neighbours and was as one would expect with a 50Hz cutoff. The spec did not say whether that was -3 or -6 db. It would be interesting to know what the RMS power levels are, but this was not forthcoming. Unsolicited listeners commented that the sound was full and distortion free. There is a slight pause and click as the Fenton microphone is switched on. Both microphones are controlled with a single volume control, and go up and down together.”
