“Getting the speakers out of the box, they are huge! The one with the amp is about 13.5kg, so pretty hefty. I forgot, but I think the other is about 8kg. They sound great, even better than my Bang & Olufsen setup. There's a really good frequency range and I can hardly hear any distortion, even at high volumes. The speaker stands also feel good quality, esp for the price. One criticism/room for improvement - we think that the hole in the bottom of the speakers seems to be not very deep (maybe about 3 inches). This may be industry standard - I don't know - but as they are such big heavy weights on top of tall tripods they seem a little bit vulnerable - especially if people are going to be dancing near to them. If the slot was a just a couple of cm deeper, it'd feel more reassuring. Another potential improvement would be if it was possible to change equaliser modes on the speaker console as well as the remote. The remote control is made of thin plastic and actually broke in transit. However Electromarket were very good at customer service and arranged a free replacement quickly. (Note - the box showed that it had clearly been bumped around a lot during transit.) Overall, I'm very pleased and I have no hesitation with giving this setup 5*.”
