I have used these with great success with some outdoor speakers - Polk Sub100 and a pair of Monitor Audio CL2Ms. With correct filtering for lows and mid/treble, these allow the sub to now seamlessly fill the previously missing octave with which gives a lovely weight to the overall sound. If these had an adjustable crossover point too they would be perfect.

Hi Matt, Thanks for sharing your experience. Great to hear the crossover filters are giving the outdoor setup the weight you’re after. If you’d like, we can note your suggestion about an adjustable crossover point for future reference. Warm regards, Team ElectroMarket

The crossovers didn't work for me. There seemed to be a gap in the frequency response between the tops and subs where there was no bass at all. Others don’t seem to have had this problem so maybe just my speakers. I returned the items.

Worth a read of an honest opinion by someone who knows their stuff... Well let me start off by saying firstly I am in the pro-AV game and know what’s-what. Usually you wouldn’t find me near a passive crossover that divides bass and mid-top frequencies as a standard as they are normally inefficient power hungry things that colour the sound... Yada yada yada... However I needed a crossover to divide the bass from the mid-tops and vice-versa. Well it was only 55 quid for a pair, but 40 mins drive each way as I wanted them right away and to say I was sceptical they’d do the job in my retro roadshow bass-bins and mid-tops would be a question on my mind. However: Well they did/do and not just do it, these little passive bass & mid-top crossovers are really quite good indeed. Granted they are being used on Fane & McKenzie drivers from the early 90’s, but the bass-bins seem to be only getting bass which sounds like 150’ish Hz and lower and the mid-tops are only getting just that, the mids and tops only as intended! Perfect! I am actually going to buy another two to test on some modern pro-end passive kit and see what they are up to as these units have now been fully integrated permanently inside the retro bass-bins ready for action. Love it! And the people in this Electro Market shop seemed nice and friendly. Will use and buy this again, thanks.
