“I love it but hate it too. Sound odd? Not really. The quality in respect of build and sound is fabulous. It looks and sounds fantastic. With so few radios having FM these days, this is exceptional. Digital radio is clear, clean and as always, lifeless. Fortunately this bit of kit has, what radio should be, the depth, tone and warmth of FM. I have also played a CD through it (the great Andrea Bocelli) and the sound is as good as you can get from lifeless digital media. But this thing wins hands down in its ability to transmit the soul of FM radio. Given the great price - for this alone I am happy. If you additionally enjoy stuff like DAB and Bluetooth you'll be even happier. Overall it's a good bit of kit. The complexity of the remote control will thrill some, but like me, irritate others. It should be able to do everything from the front control panel. If it can and I am missing something it is because, as fairly common, the manual seems to care more about the number of languages it is translated into instead of the clearer detail of the mode d'emploi. Overall - it's a great FM radio of quality build and excellent value but overly bogged down by other gadgetry, which some will appreciate more than I have. Picture attached shows a soundbar on it - this is not part of this unit but is just a convenient place for it to sit.”

“Nice bit of kit, the sound is good unless you want to annoy the neighbours with it, then its more likely to annoy you more, but, sounds really good from mid to medium high volume. It has a jack plug for headphones and using a Bluetooth Transmitter for Bluetooth headphones works too, because it has a USB port to charge it with. Not too big or too intrusive, but if you like a medium noise level then the sound quality is great.”

We were not able to replicate this error on the product at our HQ. We recommend that you push the plug into the socket a little bit more to ensure a good grip and ensure that the plug is aligned straight into the device.
